i mean, it used to crash a lot more often, but lately it’s been way more stable. It rarely crashes now, which makes using it a lot less frustrating...

I’ve been using Dehancer on a handful of Resolve projects lately, and the speed caught me off guard. I was expecting my timeline to get really sluggish, especially once I turned on stuff like grain and film print, but playback has stayed smooth on my setup. Even little things like making a small tweak and hitting render haven’t turned into that annoying wait-around situation. Of course, it still depends on the footage and settings, but for how much it’s doing, the performance feels really solid. I’m happy with it so far.

I canceled my plan and asked for a refund. Support got back to me the next day and basically handled it without much hassle. The money didn’t show up right away, took a few days, but whatever, it got sorted in the end. Overall it was fine

I checked out Dehancer before buying, the hardware requirements were laid out really clearly. No weird guessing game about whether my GPU or setup could handle it. I wish more plugin sites explained this stuff in plain English, for real. Saved me time and kept me from getting hit with any annoying surprises after installing.

I had to upgrade my Dehancer version and it went smoother than I expected. My license carried over fine, my old projects opened without any issues, and I didn’t have to spend time troubleshooting anything. It’s always a relief when an update just works like it should. I ended up grabbing Dehancer after seeing a few people in editing groups mention it, and their little tips made the first setup way less confusing. I was kind of on the fence at first because I didn’t know if I really needed another grading tool, but the film looks won me over fast. The grain especially feels nice to me, not that crunchy fake overlay look, and I like that I can tweak tiny things like bloom, halation, and how the shadows roll off without it getting messy.
I’ve been using it mostly in DaVinci Resolve, and it’s definitely speeding up my grading. It took me an evening of poking around, comparing before/after frames, and nudging sliders way too carefully, but once I got a feel for it, the results were worth it. The support and community posts helped too, especially for small workflow questions. Really happy with it overall, 5 stars from me

I had an issue where my license wasn’t showing up after I reinstalled, so I emailed support thinking I’d probably be waiting around for a while.
They replied the same day and actually seemed to read what I wrote. After about a couple of messages, everything was fixed. No canned replies, just clear help, which I really appreciated

I really like the way the color grading looks overall, but sometimes it feels a little too heavy and I end up having to tweak it more than expected. Has anyone else run into the same thing?

My first reaction was that this looks a lot like my old 35mm scans, in a good way. It doesn’t have that overly digital feel, which I really like. I made a quick judgment on it and, i’ve been using it a lot ever since.

I do like the film-style look it gives, and it definitely does the job. I guess I just expected it to feel a little more worth the price for how I actually use it. If you’re using it regularly, it probably makes more sense, but for someone more casual like me, it feels a bit pricey.

I got my clips looking good quickly, and it didn’t feel confusing at all. Compared to a lot of the other tools people recommend, this one was way more straightforward and easy to use.

I’ve been happy with the camera profile support in Dehancer overall. My Sony and Blackmagic footage usually just works without much tweaking, which makes grading feel a lot smoother and more consistent. That said, I do wish they had a few more niche camera profiles available, so it’s not perfect for everything. Still, for the cameras I use most, it’s been really solid.

Installed dehancer yesterday the setup was painless. The plugin popped up in Resolve right away, and the license activation only took about a minute. I did have to restart once, which was a tiny bit annoying, but after that it worked just fine with no weird errors or drama

This has almost everything I need for color grading, grain, halation, and all that film look stuff. It did take me a little while to find some of the settings, but once I figured it out, it felt like complete toolkit

The help pages are clear, and the tutorials actually made things a lot easier for me. I’d be curious if other people found them just as useful, because they definitely helped me get unstuck.
